If you like people-watching and you’re in no hurry, take a ride on the CTA. People file in and fall into their microcosms, eating snacks, talking on phones, reading, thinking. I was lucky to be camera-ready when these two boarded the bus.

The matching hoodies first caught my eye, then the angelic, youthful faces—one buried in a paper, the other in a phone. The casual disregard of one another indicated familiarity between siblings or best friends.
