The soft northern light and airy atmosphere in P. persica’s setup inspired a second piece.

At the time I lived in a 3rd floor walkup apartment that was run down and poorly heated but had incredible light. I set the peaches up in my bedroom, which faced north and opened up to a small private patio beneath a canopy of locust trees. There was something very romantic about that apartment. Some of my fondest memories reside there.
